Recognised Among the Best
We are proud to announce that the Adventure Yachts AY60 has been nominated for the Multihull of the Year (MOTY) 2026 award, organised by Multihulls World magazine and the International Multihull Show.
The MOTY is the premier annual election to determine the best new multihulls launched on the market. The AY60 competes in the Multipower category — one of the fastest-growing segments in the multihull world, reflecting the surging demand for capable, long-range power catamarans.

What Is the MOTY Award?
The Multihull of the Year election is now in its fifth year. Designed and organised by the Multihulls World / Multicoques Mag editorial team, the MOTY has become the definitive benchmark for innovation and excellence in multihull design and construction.
The award features multiple categories:
- Sail Cruising — cruising catamarans and trimarans
- Performance Cruising — performance-oriented sailing multihulls
- Multipower — power catamarans and motor multihulls
- Multiyacht — superyacht-sized multihulls
- IMS Premiere — jury-selected best debut at the International Multihull Show
Voting is open to the public, and the results carry significant weight in the industry. The 2025 Multipower category was won by the Sunreef 60 Power Eco — a formidable competitor that underscores the calibre of vessels in this segment.
Why the AY60 Deserves Your Vote
The AY60 brings a fresh approach to the 60-foot power catamaran class:
Lightest in class — At 18,500 kg, the AY60 achieves an exceptional power-to-weight ratio thanks to carbon/epoxy and eGlass/epoxy composite construction. This translates directly into better fuel economy, higher speeds, and gentler motion at sea.
Built for ocean passages — With over 2,000 nautical miles of range and the option for hybrid inboard propulsion, the AY60 is a genuine blue-water cruiser, not just a coastal day boat.
Energy independence — 8 kWp of solar panels and a 1,800 Ah battery bank mean the AY60 can spend extended periods at anchor without running generators, reducing noise, emissions, and fuel costs.
Thai craftsmanship — Every AY60 is hand-built in Thailand by a team combining multi-generational boat-building knowledge with cutting-edge composite techniques. The result is a level of fit and finish that rivals European yards at a fraction of the cost.
Three configurations — The AY60 is available as the Sport (outboard), Flybridge (hybrid inboard), and SportX (outboard explorer), allowing owners to choose the variant that best fits their cruising plans.
How to Vote
Voting for the Multihull of the Year 2026 is open now and runs until the International Multihull Show in La Grande Motte (April 22-26, 2026). Results will be announced at the show.
Every vote counts. If you believe the AY60 represents the future of power catamaran design, we would be honoured to have your support.
